Scouts from Troop 598 helped out at the Fall Garden Festival put on by the Master Gardeners at the WSU Extension Center. Time was spent ushering in cars to the parking area, helping lift trees and assisting with games and activities.
The Troop received a nice letter after the event:
I want to thank your troop for helping with the Fall Family Garden Fest & Tree Sale on October 4th. Your scouts were eager to help with parking, the tree sale, running the doggie doo game and any task we asked them to lend a hand. Your scouts arrived on time, in Class A’s and were ready to work. The event planning group was very impressed with your troop and we greatly appreciated the help.
Thanks too for your help directing cars at the event entrance.
