]]>Troop 598 headed to historic Camp Parsons this summer. The scouts worked on a variety of merit badges that included: Small Boat Sailing, Motorboating, Riflery, Wilderness Survival, Mammal Studies, Oceanography, Fingerprinting, First Aid, Pulp & Paper, Citizenship in the World, Woodcarving and more. The newer scouts also got an introduction to rank advancement through the Trail to First Class program. Highlights included an impressive nature hike, teambuilding activities, the camp’s awesome 500-foot pier, multiple waterfront areas.
